PART FOUR — THE PEDAGOGY (HOW WE ACTUALLY TEACH)
This is where the outlandish expertise meets the actionable. We do not lecture. We do not death-by-PowerPoint. We do not sell certifications. We orchestrate transformation.
The Six Pedagogical Movements
Every module follows the same arc, repeated 12 times across the year:
- PRIMING (Somatic). A 12-minute embodied practice that opens
the body to receive the principle. Breath, movement, sound.
- PROVOCATION (Cognitive). A 30-minute video lesson by a
faculty member or outrageous guest. Densely written, beautifully shot, never longer than necessary.
- PROOF (Empirical). A real case study with real numbers.
Spreadsheets, contracts, marketing assets, sales recordings — anonymized when needed, but real.
- PRACTICE (Implementation). A 90-minute lab session —
usually live, sometimes async — where you actually do the work. You don't "learn pricing." You re-price your offering this week.
- PEER (Cohort). Hexad meeting. Six entrepreneurs. Two hours.
Wins, blocks, accountability.
- PILGRIMAGE (Integration). A monthly written or recorded
reflection synthesizing what shifted. These compound into a personal manuscript by year's end — many cohort members have published these reflections as their own books.
The Faculty (Outlandish by Design)
We deliberately mix worlds nobody mixes:
- The Operator — A serial founder who has built and sold three
luxury wellness companies
- The Mystic — A 40-year contemplative teacher who also holds
an MBA from Wharton
- The Marketer — Former CMO of a $400M lifestyle brand, now
leads silent retreats
- The Choreographer — Designs movement curricula for fortune
500 leadership offsites
- The Economist — Behavioral finance researcher; writes about
pricing and pleasure
- The Lawyer — Specializes in transformative experience
businesses; wrote the industry's standard waiver
- The Chef — Trained at Noma; now caters retreat experiences as
embodied teaching
- The Composer — Live-scores every gathering; teaches a
module on sonic branding This is not a faculty list. It is a deliberately impossible coalition — proof, in human form, that the worlds of commerce and consciousness do not have to live in separate rooms.
