The Press16 of 31

Exercise 2 — Six in sixty

One statement: "I'd start writing again but I've got nothing worth saying." Set a timer for sixty seconds and write all six frames, one line each, in the fixed order — Horizon, Boundary, Function, Reference, Agency, Kind. Do not evaluate. Do not skip one because it seems weak. Do this daily this week with a new statement each time.

How to tell if it's any good: completion within the minute, in order, with no gaps — that is the entire standard, and quality of individual frames does not count yet. The Function line is the one people leave blank; if yours is blank three days running, your retrieval on Function is not built and no amount of good selection will save it. By day five the six should arrive as a block rather than one at a time. If it still feels like six separate acts of thinking on day seven, shorten the statement and keep going rather than extending the time.
