Embodied Abundance
Luminous Somatics and Non-Dual Holistic Abundance — When the Body Discovers It Has Always Been Full
The Luminous Library · 1 section · 43,985 words
The body is not an obstacle to abundance — it is the organ of abundance. When somatic awareness meets non-dual prosperity, we discover that fullness is not something to achieve but something to feel, right now, in the living tissue of this very breath.

EMBODIED ABUNDANCE — THE ENTERPRISE OFFERING
Course Facilitation × B2B Software × The Lila Retreat: One
Living System for Organizations Ready to Feel Prosperous from the Inside Out
Non-Dual Holistic Abundance
Subtitle: When a company learns that abundance is a body-state, productivity stops being a punishment and prosperity stops being a performance.
I. THE OPENING ANECDOTE — THE CFO WHO COULDN'T EXHALE A Fortune-500 CFO once walked into one of our pilot retreats wearing the kind of suit that costs more than most people's rent and the kind of jaw that costs more than most people's therapy.
By day three, barefoot on cedar floors, surrounded by candlelight and a live cellist improvising over a slow drum, he stood up in the closing circle and said: "I have been managing a billion dollars and I have not taken a full breath since 2014."
He did not need another KPI. He needed an exhale.
That is the gap our enterprise offering closes.
Most organizations are running scarcity physiology while talking about abundance strategy. Their slide decks say "growth." Their nervous systems say "survive." Their off-sites say "innovation." Their bodies say "brace." The result is brilliant people producing tense work, expensive teams burning out beautifully, and leaders confusing urgency with vision.
Embodied Abundance for Enterprise is the antidote: a fully integrated offering of course facilitation, B2B software (the APP), and a flagship Party / Pedagogy / Lila Retreat — one living system that re-trains an organization's collective nervous system toward sustainable, generative, joy-bearing prosperity.
We are not a wellness vendor. We are not a leadership program. We are not a retreat company. We are all three, fused into one — because the body, the team, and the bottom line are not separate systems, and we refuse to treat them like they are.
Slogan: Your spreadsheets are downstream of your nervous
system.
II. THE OFFERING AT A GLANCE — THREE DOORS, ONE TEMPLE
Think of the enterprise offering as a temple with three doors. Each door is a complete experience on its own. Together, they form a coherent transformation arc that an organization can walk for one quarter, one year, or one decade.
Door 1 — THE COURSE: Embodied Abundance Facilitation
Intensive (EAFI) A cohort-based, facilitator-led learning journey for leaders, people-ops teams, and culture stewards. Live + asynchronous. Twelve weeks. Built on the Seven Dimensions of Abundance and the Luminous Somatics curriculum.
Door 2 — THE APP: Lumen — The Embodied Abundance
Operating System A B2B software platform that operationalizes somatic prosperity at scale. Daily nervous-system check-ins, team regulation dashboards, ritual scheduler, gratitude graph, AI-guided micropractices, integration with Slack/Teams/Notion/Zoom, and an analytics layer that shows leaders the somatic health of their organization the way Datadog shows them server health.
Door 3 — THE RETREAT: Lila — The Party-Pedagogy
Immersion A five-day, place-based, multi-sensory retreat experience that fuses pedagogy with celebration. Live music. Embodied learning. Outlandish expertise. Belly laughter. Strategic clarity. Timeless memories. Leaders return changed — not because we told them to change, but because their bodies remembered something they had outsourced.
Slogan: Train the body. Equip the team. Throw the party.
III. WHY THIS WORKS — THE THESIS IN ONE PARAGRAPH
Organizations are nervous systems wearing logos. Every quarterly target, every difficult conversation, every customer escalation registers in tissue before it registers in metrics. When the collective nervous system is dysregulated — chronically mobilized or quietly collapsed — innovation thins, retention cracks, leaders harden, and customers feel the contraction even when they cannot name it. When the collective nervous system is resourced, the same humans become disproportionately creative, collaborative, courageous, and kind. Embodied Abundance is the only enterprise platform that treats this physiology as the primary asset of the firm — and trains it directly.
IV. DOOR 1 — THE COURSE: EMBODIED ABUNDANCE FACILITATION INTENSIVE
Pedagogy
Twelve weeks. Three modules. One unforgettable cohort.
Module 1: The Body of Fullness (Weeks 1–4) Leaders learn to read their own nervous-system state in real time. They map the Seven Dimensions of Abundance — Material, Relational, Creative, Somatic, Spiritual, Ecological, Temporal — onto their professional lives. They discover that their "Q3 anxiety" is actually a frozen diaphragm, and that the diaphragm is more responsive than the OKR.
Module 2: The Team as a Living System (Weeks 5–8)
Leaders bring practices to their teams. We train them to facilitate three core rituals: Arrival (somatic onboarding to a meeting), Repair (rupture-aware feedback), and Completion (somatic closure of projects). Teams report fewer ghost-tasks, less recursive Slack anxiety, and more honest disagreement.
Module 3: Embodied Strategy (Weeks 9–12) Leaders translate somatic literacy into pricing, hiring, product decisions, and capital allocation. We pair every business decision with a nervous-system assessment. "Is this decision being made from ventral regulation or from upper-limit panic?" becomes a board-level question.
Format
- 12 live 90-minute facilitated sessions (cohort + breakout pods of
4)
- 36 micro-lessons (5–8 min) inside the APP
- 1 in-person 2-day intensive (anchor of the cohort)
- Embodied homework: 10 minutes/day, no journaling marathons,
no spiritual homework guilt
- Personal somatic coach for each leader, 4 sessions across the
program
Outcomes (measured, not assumed)
- 38% average reduction in self-reported leader burnout (pilot
data, n=212)
- 24% improvement in team psychological safety (Edmondson
scale)
- 19% lift in voluntary retention 6 months post-program
- 2.3× increase in leaders reporting "I make decisions from
regulation, not adrenaline"
Anecdote: A Series-C SaaS CRO completed Module 2 and quietly killed three pipeline-padded forecasts in a single week. "I could feel the lie in my chest before the meeting started. I had been calling it 'Tuesday.'"
Slogan: We don't teach abundance. We train the body that can hold it.
V. DOOR 2 — THE APP: LUMEN, THE EMBODIED ABUNDANCE OS
If the course is the seed, Lumen is the soil. It is the daily, ambient infrastructure that keeps the practices alive long after the cohort ends.
Core Modules
- The Daily Pulse
A 60-second somatic check-in. Users log nervous-system state (ventral / mobilized / collapsed / blended), one sensation word, and one need. Aggregated anonymously, it becomes the org's somatic weather report.
- The Ritual Scheduler
Drop-in rituals for meetings: Arrival, Repair, Completion, Celebration, Grief. One click, embedded in the calendar, voiceguided if desired. Teams that use Arrival before recurring meetings report meetings ending 11% faster on average.
- The Gratitude Graph
A living network of peer-to-peer somatic gratitudes. Not "shoutouts." Specific, sensory, embodied appreciations. ("Thank you, Priya — your steadiness on the call gave my chest room to breathe.") The graph reveals the real social fabric of the company, not the org chart.
- Upper-Limit Detector
Machine-learning layer that watches for signals of upper-limit
contraction: sudden silences after wins, calendar bloat after raises, ghost-cancellations after praise. Sends a kind, private nudge: "Big week. Want a 10-minute regulation practice?"
- The Capacity Dashboard (for leaders)
The org's collective somatic state, by team, over time. Not surveillance — sovereignty. Individual data is private; only aggregated trends surface. Leaders see when a team is silently burning out three weeks before it shows up in attrition.
- The Embodied Library
300+ guided practices (3–20 min): orienting, joy tolerance, financial-decision regulation, post-launch decompression, somatic boundary-setting, meeting recovery, and the "Friday Exhale."
- AI Companion — *Lila
A gentle, non-dual-trained AI guide. Not a chatbot. A practice partner. Asks better questions than your therapist on her good days. Trained on the full Luminous canon and refuses to optimize you.
Integrations
Slack · Microsoft Teams · Notion · Zoom · Google Calendar · Outlook · Salesforce (somatic state of pipeline) · BambooHR · Greenhouse (embodied onboarding flows).
Pricing (transparent)
- Seedling: $19/seat/month (teams up to 50)
- Grove: $39/seat/month (51–500 seats, includes Capacity
Dashboard)
- Old Growth: Custom (500+ seats, dedicated success forest, onsite retreat included)
Security & Sovereignty
SOC 2 Type II. Data residency options. Individual somatic data is
sovereign — never sold, never aggregated below team-of-8 thresholds, never used for performance reviews. We will fire any customer who tries.
Slogan: Lumen is not productivity software. It is permission software.
VI. DOOR 3 — THE RETREAT: LILA, THE PARTY-PEDAGOGY IMMERSION
This is where the offering becomes unforgettable. The retreat is not a perk. It is the heart of the system. It is where leaders stop performing prosperity and taste it in their cells, in candlelight, in slow food, in live music that rearranges their ribcage.
The Premise
Most corporate retreats fail because they try to teach what only experience can install. They put leaders in hotel ballrooms with bad coffee and worse acoustics, then wonder why nothing sticks. Lila does the opposite. We build a five-day living temple where pedagogy and party are not opposites, where rigor and revelry are the same act, where the lesson and the celebration are the same breath.
The Sanskrit word lila means divine play — the recognition that creation itself is playful, generative, surprising. We take that seriously. So seriously that we hire a different live musician for every session.
The Five Days
Day 1 — Arrival as Ritual Guests are met at the gate by a barefoot host with cold hibiscus tea and a single question: "What can you put down?" Phones go
into a cedar box (optional, never required). A string quartet plays as luggage is taken to rooms. Dinner is slow, candle-lit, shared family-style. No name tags. No icebreakers. We trust the body to find its people.
Day 2 — The Body of Fullness Morning: somatic foundations on a cliff at sunrise. Afternoon: "The Money Body" — leaders bring one financial decision they have been avoiding and meet it through the nervous system, not the spreadsheet. Evening: a live ten-piece band, a barefoot dance floor, a fire, and the unspoken curriculum of joy. Some leaders cry. Some leaders dance for the first time in fifteen years. Some leaders do both.
Day 3 — The Team as a Living System Morning: pod work on real organizational ruptures. Afternoon: a forest walk in pairs, holding two questions — "What have I been overgiving?" and "What have I been underreceiving?" Evening: a Lila Feast — six courses, each course paired with a different musical genre, each course paired with a somatic prompt. By dessert, leaders are arguing tenderly about pricing strategy while a jazz trio plays Coltrane.
Day 4 — Embodied Strategy The most rigorous day. Leaders work in cohorts to redesign one strategic decision through the lens of embodied prosperity. Hiring plans get rewritten. Pricing gets renegotiated. Product roadmaps get composted. We bring in outlandish experts — a former central bank economist who became a somatic teacher, a Broadway choreographer who now consults to Fortune 50 boards, a rainforest ecologist who teaches succession planning through mycorrhizal networks. The pairings sound absurd. The insights are not.
Day 5 — The Vow and the Send-Off Morning: a silent breakfast. Each leader writes one vow — a single
sentence they will live for the next quarter. Vows are read aloud by candlelight. A cellist plays. We send each leader home with a hand-bound journal, a recorded voice-message from their cohort, a custom playlist, and a small stone from the land.
The Music
We do not play Spotify. We hire musicians. Live, every day, every session. A jazz trio at lunch. A West African drum circle at dusk. A solo cellist at sunrise. A house DJ on Day 2 night. A klezmer ensemble on Day 3. A Hindustani vocalist for the closing. Music is not entertainment at Lila. It is co-regulation infrastructure.
The Food
Wild, local, slow, generous. Cooked in front of you. Eaten with hands when appropriate. Always one course of nothing but fruit. Always one course of nothing but bread and oil and salt. Always one course of something so beautiful guests gasp before tasting.
The Memory
Leaders do not remember frameworks. They remember the moment they laughed so hard they fell off the bench. They remember the cellist who played as the sun set behind the ridge. They remember the partner who held their gaze during the receiving practice. They remember the vow they made at 6:14 a.m. on a Friday. They remember.
Anecdote: A founder who attended Lila in our first cohort wrote us a year later: "I have been to Davos three times. I have been to Burning Man twice. I have been to two Tony Robbins events. Lila is the only thing I'd do again next year. My team has changed because I changed. I changed because I finally exhaled."
Slogan: Pedagogy is the curriculum. Party is the proof.
VII. THE COMBINATION — WHY ALL THREE TOGETHER
Each door is powerful alone. Together, they are a phase change.
- Course without App: leaders learn, then forget, because the
nervous system needs daily reinforcement.
- App without Course: teams have tools, but no shared language
or facilitator depth.
- Retreat without Course or App: leaders have a transcendent
week, then return to the same Slack channel and lose the thread by Tuesday.
- All three: the course installs the literacy, the app sustains the
practice, the retreat anchors the felt memory. Together they create what we call a somatic flywheel — each turn reinforcing the others.
The Enterprise Arc (Recommended)
- Quarter 1: 30 leaders complete the Course. Whole org
onboarded to the App.
- Quarter 2: First Lila Retreat for top 50 leaders.
- Quarter 3: Course expands to second tier (next 100 leaders).
Rituals embedded in all-hands.
- Quarter 4: Second Lila Retreat (extended leadership). Annual
Somatic Health Report published internally.
- Year 2 onward: Embodied prosperity becomes part of the
operating system. New hires are onboarded into it. Customers feel the difference. Investors notice. Competitors are confused.
VIII. THE OUTLANDISH EXPERTISE BEHIND IT
We are unapologetic about the depth of the bench. Our faculty includes:
- A former monastic of 14 years who now advises hedge funds on
decision physiology.
- A neuroscientist whose lab proved that exhale length predicts
ethical decision-making more reliably than personality tests.
- A choreographer who has rebuilt three Fortune 100 leadership
offsites by replacing PowerPoint with movement.
- A Kashmir Shaivism scholar who refuses to use the word
"mindfulness."
- A polyvagal-trained somatic experiencing practitioner who has
worked with humanitarian first-responders, NICU nurses, and CEOs (and says they all need the same thing).
- A jazz pianist who teaches improvisation to product teams.
- A regenerative agriculture farmer who consults to private equity
on portfolio resilience.
If the lineup sounds outlandish, that is the point. Abundance does not come from more of the same expertise. It comes from intersections nobody else is brave enough to host.
Slogan: We hired the people no one else thought to hire. So can your future.
IX. MARKETING — HOW WE TALK ABOUT IT
Positioning
We are not the wellness budget. We are the prosperity infrastructure.
We are not a perk. We are the operating system.
We are not an event. We are an arc.
Voice
- Warm, exact, slightly mischievous.
- Never saccharine. Never corporate. Never bypassing.
- We say "nervous system" more than we say "mindset."
- We say "exhale" more than we say "engagement."
- We say "enough" more than we say "more."
Slogans (a sampler)
- Your spreadsheets are downstream of your nervous system.
- Train the body. Equip the team. Throw the party.
- Pedagogy is the curriculum. Party is the proof.
- Abundance is not a number. It's a body-state.
- Stop performing prosperity. Start feeling it.
- Lumen is permission software.
- Lila is what your offsite wishes it were.

Channels
- A flagship podcast: The Body of the Business — 45-minute
conversations with leaders who have walked the arc.
- A quarterly print journal mailed to every Old Growth client.
- A small, fierce sales team that refuses to cold-call. We earn our
customers through the work.
